What is Eye Power?
Eye Power is the education division of Skyline Displays Australia. Eye Power is an internationally recognised and widely presented exhibitor education program. Eye Power incorporates seminars, workshops and training programs. Its key purpose is to help exhibitors and industry professionals achieve their exhibition and trade show objectives.

Eye Power Plus: “Designing Effective Trade Show Exhibits
This is an interactive two-hour experience. It is conducted as a workshop rather than a seminar – so be prepared to participate! It is designed for people who are involved in all aspects of the exhibit design process. This workshop is presented to Corporate and Government organisations on a fee-for-service basis. All attendees receive a valuable workshop manual. We explore these subjects:

•The Focus of the Design is the Customer, Not You
• Understanding the Exhibit’s Function
• Using the Exhibit as a Communication Tool
• Process for Successful Exhibits
• Practical Factors to Consider
• Graphics – The Magnet that Attracts Visitors

Eye Power Plus: “Effective Promotions and Measurement
This fee-for-service Eye Power ‘Plus’ event will help you understand what it takes to attract and retain attention in your exhibition environment – and measure outcomes. This Eye Power ‘Plus’ experience challenges exhibition marketing and management professionals to out-think, not out-spend their competitors. You will hear first-hand experiences and have the opportunity to share your story. The topics are:

• Pre-show Promotion
• At-show Promotion
• Post-Show Promotion
• Setting Measurement Objectives
• Measuring the ‘Unmeasurable’

Why is Eye Power such a worthwhile experience?
Eye Power messages are delivered without fear or favour. This is no ‘cash for comment’ experience. Expect to hear hard facts, plain-English truths and practical information. Our visitors appreciate the crisp, succinct and memorable way we tell our story.

The outcome?
We have presented Eye Power over 100 times to over 3,000 attendees Australia wide since July 2001. One truckload of biscuits + One small tanker of coffee = Thousands of more effective, more profitable exhibitors.

How much does it cost?
Eye Power seminars are free of charge. However, an investment is required – your time – and we value it as highly as you do. We promise to deliver a genuinely educational experience and that’s what we do.

Do I have to book?
Yes. Most Eye Power events are over-subscribed so we request you register well in advance.

May a colleague or friend accompany me?
Yes. Many organisations require their entire sales and marketing teams to attend Eye Power as part of their professional development. However, as numbers are limited, we request a maximum of three attendees per organisation per event.

Can I attend the same seminar again?
You are very welcome to do so. We learn something new from every Eye Power experience, so it’s very likely you will too!

What do I receive for attending?
All attendees receive a high quality workbook free of charge, and access to range of free electronic tools. We also make two exclusive publications on offer*, “The Trade Show Marketing Ideas Kit” and “Creating Effective Trade Show Promotions.” Please note these two publications are only available or for sale at an Eye Power event. *Conditions apply.

Can I get the exclusive Eye Power workbooks or publications without attending?
No.

Do I have to be a Nouveau Productions customer to attend?
No. We invite all open-minded exhibition professionals and those that want to learn more about exhibition marketing to attend. We regard all attendees as ‘friends of Nouveau Productions.’ And you are welcome to visit and consult with us anytime.

Will salespeople hound me when I attend?
Categorically “No!” We promise to deliver an educational experience and we keep this promise. Neither your presenter or any of the Eye Power team or participating Partners will attempt to sell anything to you – other than the idea that you can and will be a more effective exhibitor by following Eye Power principles. Time permitting, we will answer product-specific questions but we find that’s usually best left for another day. That’s why we professionally follow through after the event.

What’s new with Eye Power in 2008?
Eye Power has been re-imaged and rewritten for the ’07 season. We have also developed three new Eye Power ‘Plus’ programs that drill deeper into the high-interest topics of design, promotions, measurement and staffing skills. These ‘Plus’ workshops are presented on a fee-for-service basis, and include a thorough pre- and post-consultation process.Interested? Eye Power Plus: “Effective Exhibit Selling Skills
This Eye Power ‘Plus’ event requires full participation from all attendees. This is a fee-for-service workshop, with pre-consultation, handout notes and a post-event report. Seasoned exhibit staff and novices alike will benefit from this workshop.It is an especially suitable workshop in the context of a pre-event meeting. The topics are:

Who presents Eye Power?
Ron McDermott and his team present Eye Power Australia wide. Ron is Skyline’s National Business Development Director. He has been with Skyline fifteen years, and has been involved with sales management and exhibiting for over twenty years. Ron is synonymous with the Skyline brand and has a reputation as a straight shooter. He has extensive on-the-floor exhibition experience with a raft of public and private sector organisations. Ron is passionate about helping Australian exhibitors achieve their objectives.
